Goo Goo Dolls was everything I remember!
I was lucky enough to have seen them perform at the beginning of their fifteen year run and Johnny R. is still up there, strumming along like the classic rocker! The memories I have amassed, listening to them sing about the world, going home and being there for one another has only been reaffirmed with this recent 'blast from my past!' I loved it more than I had even anticipated-every single song on my favorite hits' list was played. Whoo hoo!
However, with this being said, I have been to the Nikon Theater at Jones Beach several times in the past, but will not be returning at any point in the future. For me, The Hazlett represent my entire college experience! I was appalled at the taxi fees to and from the site, now that recent MTA budget cuts have eliminated usage of the shuttle bus. It's not worth paying more for transportation than actual ticket prices!
